Yogurtland To Open First Pennsylvania Location at Willow Grove Mall
(IRVINE, CA) Oct. 26, 2012 – Pennsylvania flavor cravers are in for a special treat when Yogurtland’s first location opens Friday, October 26th at the Willow Grove Mall, in the Philadelphia suburb of Willow Grove. The new Yogurtland shop is at the entrance to the mall’s food court, at 2500 Westmoreland Road in Willow Grove, PA, and will be open the same hours as the mall.
Yogurtland pioneered the self-serve frozen yogurt concept where consumers build their own creations choosing from 16 flavors of yogurt and dozens of toppings, and then pay about 43-cents an ounce for their treat.
To celebrate the Willow Grove Yogurtland opening, the frozen yogurt shop will be offering the first three ounces free from 10 AM – 2 PM on Friday, October 26.
“The Willow Grove Mall is the center of this township making it the ideal place for our first Yogurtland in this area. Mall shoppers were looking for a better dessert option, and Yogurtland is the ideal choice for a healthy, tasty treat,” said Michael Haines, president of Central Jersey Enterprises, LLC, which also owns and operates two Yogurtlands in New Jersey, and will soon open a second Pennsylvania location in Springfield.
Yogurtland frozen yogurt shops generate an average unit volume of more than $780,000, and last year Yogurtland served more than 49 million cups of frozen yogurt.
